What if I am brand new to firearms?

If you have no or little experience with firearms, GREAT we have you covered. We recommend taking our Introduction to Firearms class, however if you prefer to take a Concealed Carry Class, we go over quite a lot in those classes. We will discuss safe handling, firearm fundamentals and do some hands-on training before stepping foot on the range. Reach out to us directly if you prefer to chat about any concerns you may have.

Do I have to have my own firearm?

No, we do have firearms available for rent. Firearm rental is $25 and feel free to reach out to us to discuss caliber preference. We have .22’s, .380’s & 9mm’s available for rent and please inform us well in advance of scheduled class date to assure availability.

What do I need for the range portion?

Ammunition - rounds are state specific, however 100 rounds is typically sufficent.  We will notify everyone via email as we get closer to the class the amount you will need, 2) Firearm (can rent), 3) Eye protection (safety glasses - can buy from us), 4) Ear protection (electronic ear protection recommended - can buy or rent from us). 5) Baseball style hat or hat with a brim, 6) sunblock & sunscreen, 7) Dress for the weather (hand-warmers are recommended for the colder months), 8) folding camping chair (recommended), 9) extra magazines (recommended, not required), 10) NO V-NECKS/LOOSE FITTING COLLARED SHIRTS, 11) NO OPEN-TOED SHOES

 

Where is the range?

The private ranges that we use are typically within a 5 - 15 minuite drive from the class. Range location will be announced in class.

What states can I apply for?

We offer Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Utah & Virginia. Class hours vary between states. DE, FL, MD, NJ, UT & VA can be done in one day. MD requires 16 hours therefore it is a two day class. You can also add Delaware (if DE resident), FL, NJ, UT and/or VA to that same class. How do I apply for DE, FL, MD, NJ, UT and/or VA concealed carry/wear & carry permit/s?

We will provide you additional details in class regarding applying for your concealed carry/wear and carry in the various states. Check out the following state websites for specifics;

Will any pistol/revolver work for the range qualification?

Yes, but nothing over a 45 caliber.​

 

What is the refund policy?

A full refund will be given if you cancel within seven days of the initial class. We will refund 50% if you cancel within 72 hours of your initial class and rescheduling is also an option. Rescheduled class must take place within six months of the initial class date.
